Overview
The Golden Triangle tour is one of the most popular tours in India which comprises visit to cities of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. The tour also covers Gwalior, historic town of Orchha and Khajuraho.
The sojourn starts with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Delhi, moving on to the Pink City Jaipur; its exuberance reflects in the forts of Jaipur which take you back to a historical world of Rajputs. We will then move on to experience one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Taj-Mahal, an epitome of love, which will leave you spellbound with its beautiful architecture.
Now it’s the time to explore ‘the pearl amongst fortresses’ forts of Gwalior, known for its imposing hilltop location. We will continue our journey with a visit to the historic town of Orchha, nestled on the banks of river Betwa. The old town appears to be solidified in time, with its numerous landmarks holding their unique greatness even right up 'til today.
Last but not the least visit the Temple city of Central India - Khajuraho. These temples depict various forms like meditation, kinship, wrestling, royalty and most significantly, erotic art.

Tour Details

Day 1 - Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at the Delhi International Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Delhi is India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. You will have free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone. Overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 2 - In Delhi
After breakfast, start your day with a full day Delhi sightseeing. The tour begins in Old Delhi with Jama Masjid and then a unique glance at local life by an exploration to the bustling local bazaars of Chandni Chowk on a rickshaw. Drive pass by Red Fort before driving to New Delhi for Qutub Minar and Humayun Tomb. Continue with Raj-Ghat, drive along the city landmarks of India Gate, President's House, Parliament House & Government Secretariat Buildings and stop for photo opportunity there. If time permits; visit the National Museum and Lotus temple. An ideal place for meditation, this Bahai House of worship is open to people of all religions. Overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 3 - Delhi to Jaipur By road 230 kms / 5hrs
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur and check in to the hotel. Later on, drive to Jaipur and check in to the hotel. In the evening, explore colourful bazaar of Jaipur and enjoy dinner with noble family. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 4 - In Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast, start your guided tour of Jaipur which includes visit to Amber Fort (with a jeep ride or elephant ride up to the fort entrance) and Hawa Mahal (Palace of the winds). Continue to visit the City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar. Drive pass through the pink rose residential and business areas before you head back to the hotel.

Day 5 - Jaipur to Agra By road 260kms / 6hrs
After breakfast, drive to Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Before check in to the hotel, stop at Baby Taj or the ITMAD-UD-ULLAH - the interiors of which are considered better than the Taj Nur Jahan.Later in the evening, proceed to visit the spectacular red sandstone Agra Fort, surrounded by a foursquare formal garden (Chahar-bagh) for glimpse for royal Mughal existence. Overnight will be at Agra.

Day - 6 Agra to Gwalior By road 135kms / 3hrs
Enjoy early morning visit to breathtaking Taj-Mahal. Return for breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Gwalior. On arrival at Gwalior, check in to the hotel. Later proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Gwalior visiting Gwalior Fort, Gujari Mahal, Jai Vilas Palace Museum and Tansen Tomb. Overnight will be at Gwalior.

Day - 7 Gwalior to Orchha By road 140kms / 4hrs
After breakfast, travel to Orchha. It is a scenic place where man's architecture and nature's artistry are in perfect symphony. Orchha is considered as ‘Photographer's delight and explorer's paradise’. In the afternoon, proceed for sightseeing tour of Orchha including visit to Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, Laxminarayan Temple, Chaturbhuj Temple and Cenotaphs of Orchha. Overnight will be at Orchha.

Day 8 - Orchha to Khajuraho By road 180kms / 4hrs
After breakfast, travel to Khajuraho, which is also known as Temple city of Central India and is renowned for erotic sculptures. In the evening, enjoy the sound and light show. Overnight will be at Khajuraho.

Day 9 – In Khajuraho
After breakfast, take a guided city tour of Khajuraho. In the afternoon, proceed for a tour of famous Western & Eastern temples of Khajuraho and later enjoy other activities. Overnight will be at Khajuraho.
