Commence your journey from the bustling capital of India – New-Delhi and move on to Mandawa ,famed for its fresco paintings. It is a typical Indian village located in the heart of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan famous for its majestic forts and palaces vernacularly known as Havelis. From here your journey proceeds to the pink city of Jaipur to experience the royal heritage. You can also indulge in local Rajasthani cuisine and explore the colorful bazaars.

The trip also covers the beautiful and unexplored destination – Kalakho situated between Agra and Jaipur. Tour Details

Day 1 - Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival at the Delhi International Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Delhi is India’s capital and is a major gateway to the country. You will have some free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone. Overnight will be at Delhi.

Day 2 - In Delhi

After breakfast, start the full day sightseeing tour. This begins in Old Delhi with Jama Masjid, Asia’s largest mosque, followed by unique glance at local life with an exploration to the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk on a cycle rickshaw, a heady experience! Drive pass by Red Fort before driving to New Delhi and Humayun’s Tomb. Drive down the imposing Raj-Ghats and around the city landmarks of India Gate, President's House, Parliament House & Government Secretariat Buildings and stop for photo opportunity there. If time permits, visit the National Museum and Qutub Minar or the Lotus temple, an ideal place for meditation, this Bahai House of worship is open to people of all religions. Day 3 - Delhi to Mandawa By road 280kms / 7hrs

After breakfast, drive to Mandawa and check into the hotel. Situated in the North Indian state of Rajasthan, the fort town of Mandawa lies in the heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. This was once on the famous caravan route, the Mandawa Family built their castle here and the town built up around it. A welcome break in a long journey across the desert. As the wealth of the merchants grew, so did their homes and this region is now famous because of these magnificently painted havelis. Overnight will be in Mandawa.

Day 4 - Mandawa to Jaipur By road 180kms / 5hrs

After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mandawa which includes discovering these magnificent painted Havelis and the stories behind the paintings and the owners. Later on, drive to Jaipur and check in at the hotel. In the evening, explore the colorful and vibrant bazaars of Jaipur and later enjoy dinner with noble family. Overnight will be at Jaipur.

Day 5 - In Jaipur

After a leisurely breakfast, start your guided tour of Jaipur which includes a visit to Amber Fort (with a jeep ride up to the fort entrance) and Hawa Mahal (Palace of the winds). Continue to visit the City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar (the extraordinary observatory). Time permitting, explore the local, colorful and bustling markets which are a treasure trove of trinkets and souvenirs. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 6 - Jaipur to Kalakho By road 110kms / 3hrs

After breakfast, drive to Kalakho. Reach Kalakho and you will be welcomed with traditional ceremony at the hotel. In the afternoon you will learn to play some traditional village games and you will also have the opportunity to visit the after school operated by the hotel for the local children who want to further their education. In the evening, enjoy traditional folk dance and music performance. Overnight will be at Kalakho.

Day 7 - In Kalakho

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, visit the local village on camel back. Here, you will meet the colorful Meena tribe. Spend time interacting the villagers and learning about life in rural India.Later in the afternoon, go for a hike in the nearby hills. Overnight will be at Kalakho.

Day 8 - Kalakho to Agra By road 170 kms / 4hrs

After breakfast, leave for Agra. En-route visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and Fatehpur Sikri. Relax and retire early for the day. Overnight will be at Agra.

Day 9 - In Agra

Enjoy the sunrise visit to Taj Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast. Proceed for your guided tour of Agra which includes the visit to magnificent Red Fort. Later in the evening, enjoy special heritage walk of Agra City. Overnight will be at Agra.

Day 10 - Agra to Delhi By road 200kms / 4hrs

After breakfast, drive to Delhi and as per your flight timings, you will be transferred to the airport to take flight back home with sweet memories of the tour. TOUR ENDS!
