Tadoba National Park – A Complete Travel Guide

The Tadoba National Park is known for its Jungle or Tiger Safari in an open-top gypsy. Booking one of the India Wildlife Tours will let you get a good chance to spot the shy Sloth Bear and Wild Dogs. This is a part of central India that lets you see for yourself some of the best native woodland bird species in this forest.

The jungle reveals itself as a heaven of different species where you will love waiting in the open jeep with blankets wrapped around quietly for the Khutwanda Gate of the Tadoba National Park to open. The first rays of the sun light up the path, casting a golden hue on the forest floor, making the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve a beautiful place.

When, as a team, we visited the Tadoba National Park for the first time, we also loved the marvelous view with the mahua and teak trees like sentinels, standing as towers with groves of Palash, bija, dauda, tendu, ain, among many others.

This tropical and subtropical dry broadleaf and dry-deciduous forest hums with the melody of the birds. The forest is a beautiful place, with the rustling foliage adding to the music. We absolutely loved the spotted deer sprinting through the trees while traversing through the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. Also, we started noticing the marks of claws on trees. When we were approaching the exit gate, we could see plenty of jeeps parked away from the clumps of bushes as we could feel a dead silence around us, and then after a while, we could see a majestic tigress. I must say, this is one of the most memrorable experiences and from then I made up my mind to include the Tadoba National Park as a part of the Holiday Packages in India.

Also, Tadoba Lake is a haunt for marsh crocodiles and water birds. When we visited the National Park for the second time, we were spellbound watching the changeable hawk eagle and grey-headed fish eagle. Also, it’s common to spot the lesser adjutant storks and black storks besides owls and nightjars.

The Gates and Zones of Tadoba National Park have three ranges, you need to remember that there are Tadoba North, Kolsa South, and Moharli between the two of them and each range has different zones and gates.

The core zone has six gates: Moharli, Navegaon, Pangdi, Khutwanda, Kolara, and Zari Gates, while the buffer zone has twelve gates.

As one of the oldest and largest national parks in Maharashtra with Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary, the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) is known for being one of the largest houses and one of the largest populations of tigers.

While we have conducted several tours to Tadoba, we have had our chance to spot plenty of leopards, dholes, sloth bears, alongside their prey like sambar, gaurs, barking deer and chital, and langurs.
India Tour Packages that we have created for our guests let the visitors see for themselves some of the richest ecosystems, and the Tadoba is one of those. So join us Titlyy today to catch a glimpse of the dry deciduous forests and riparian habitat, undulating hills with lush valleys, wetlands, and reservoirs.
